Any Time is a Time for a PARTY
How do you intentionally build PARTY time into your work culture? One easy way to do this is to live out the P.A.R.T.Y. acronym. This P.A.R.T.Y., learned through the research of Greg Butterfield, says a company’s most important intellectual property is not stored on a hard drive, but tucked away in the minds of their experienced and engaged employees. To maximize this potential, it is up to us all to honor the attitudes, behaviors and contributions made by so many, as we remember to P.A.R.T.Y.
P is for the people you come in contact with and the public or private way you choose to honor them.
A stands for your articulate words, chosen to recognize their specific contributions.
R stands for reinforcing what you and your organization value. And finally,
T/Y means THANK YOU for going above and beyond making a difference here.
Whether you celebrate and recognize others through a coaching conversation, or merely honoring your colleagues by having a P.A.R.T.Y., it is time to say, “YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE.”
